We would like to inform you about an important development regarding renewal costs. Our costs have increased significantly again in 2024 and unfortunately, we expect them to continue to rise due to increased costs in our industry and ongoing inflation. For example, the price of electricity in our data centers (our largest cost item) has increased by more than 110% (source: CBS) and the prices of hardware and software (servers) have also increased significantly. These costs are expected to rise further in the coming period.
We have done our best to absorb these price increases in recent years by making good agreements with our suppliers and saving internally wherever possible. However, the increases are now unfortunately too high to be able to sustain this in this way any longer.
This means that we are forced to increase our renewal costs by 10% for all our renew plans like for domain names and hosting from 01-01-2025. here are the details:
Plan A from 65,00 euro per year to 70,00 euro per year.
Plan B from 85,00 euro per year to 90,00 euro per year.
Plan C from 110,00 euro per year to 120,00 euro per year.
