What Happens If You Don’t Renew Your Domain On Time?

If you don’t renew your domain on time, your domain will remain active for 48 hours. After that, your domain will become offline and your website will be unavailable. If you pay the renewal cost within 48 hours of the expiration date, your website will be online again with no extra charge. However, if you don’t pay within 48 hours, your website will be Quarantined for the next 43 days. During this Quarantine period, if you want to renew your website, you will be charged 125 Euro (ex. VAT) to take your domain out of Quarantine, plus the hosting cost.

Quarantine costs + hosting cost

If you don’t renew your domain within the Quarantine days, your domain will be freed for re-registration by anyone. Your data, such as emails and website content, will only be kept until the end of the Quarantine period, after which it will be removed.

Als u uw domein niet op tijd verlengt, blijft uw domein 48 uur actief. Daarna wordt uw domein offline en is uw website niet meer beschikbaar. Als u de vernieuwingskosten binnen 48 uur na de vervaldatum betaalt, zal uw website weer online zijn zonder extra kosten. Als u echter niet binnen 48 uur betaalt, wordt uw website 43 dagen in Quarantaine geplaatst. Tijdens deze Quarantaineperiode, als u uw website wilt vernieuwen, wordt u 125 Euro (ex. BTW) in rekening gebracht om uw domein uit de Quarantaine te halen, plus de hostingkosten.

Quarantainekosten + hostingkosten

Als u uw domein niet binnen de Quarantaineperiode vernieuwt, wordt uw domein vrijgegeven voor herinschrijving door iedereen. Uw gegevens, zoals e-mails en websiteinhoud, worden alleen tot het einde van de Quarantaineperiode bewaard, waarna ze worden verwijderd.
